Axebreaker
Axebreaker (Japanese: 斧殺し Axe Slayer) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening. It gives its user enormous advantages when fighting an enemy who is wielding an axe or club. In Awakening and Fates, it is a class skill learned by Heroes; in Three Houses, it is an ability learned by units when they raise their skill level in sword. It provides enormous boosts to its user's hit rate and avoid when fighting these weapons.

In Heroes, it is a type B passive skill split into three levels, in order from lowest to highest: Axebreaker 1, Axebreaker 2, and Axebreaker 3. Units with a Axebreaker skill will, when fighting the user of a axe skill while this skill's user's own HP is at a certain threshold or higher, automatically make a follow-up attack and prevent the axe skill's user from doing so themselves. The minimum amount of current HP required to activate the skill decreases with each level.
