Limit Breaker

Limit Breaker (Japanese: 限界突破 Limit Breaker) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening. Exclusively available through downloadable content, it increases the individual unit's maximum possible stats by 10, allowing them to increase their stats in Level Ups past the usual limits for their class. When Limit Breaker is not equipped after increasing the unit's stats with the extra space it affords, the unit's stats are reduced to the usual maximum for the class, but the increased values are saved and will be reinstated once Limit Breaker is re-equipped.
