Fado (Japanese: ファード Fado) is a character who appears in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. He is the king of Renais, and the father of the main characters, Eirika and Ephraim. When Grado invades Renais, Fado stays at the castle while Eirika escapes with Seth. While he is not playable in the main story, he can be recruited as one of the special unlockable characters in the game's Creature Campaign feature.

Role
Fado only appears in the opening cutscene of the prologue. He is told by a soldier that Grado has invaded. Fado orders his men to lay down their arms, and urges Eirika to escape the castle for Frelia with Seth and Franz while he stays behind to find out why Grado has invaded. He is killed by Grado's forces.
He is an extra recruitable unit in Creature Campaign, like the rest of the Creature Campaign exclusive characters, he has no dialogue whatsoever.
