Snowy Defensive (Japanese: 雪の中の攻防戦 Battle Within the Snow) is a trial map in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. To unlock this map, the player must complete the game with the good ending (i.e. at the Endgame rather than Chapter 22) in any difficulty.
Beginning log
Roy is awaiting the arrival of an allied army in an old Ilian castle when a surprise attack commences. Can Roy's army defend the castle until the allied army arrives?

Strategy
This section details unofficial strategies that may help with completion of the chapter. This may not work for everybody. |
This map is as straightforward as the previous one. If you position units on the bridges, they can halt enemy advances. Moreover, if your characters are around level 10–20, they will likely dodge most attacks and possibly sustain no damage. While extensive strategy isn't necessary, be sure to remain vigilant of enemies equipped with killer weapons, silver weaponry, anti-horse and anti-lance weapons, as well as lances. The primary nuisance on this map is the ballistae. It is a good idea to deploy your flying units early on to take out the Snipers operating them.
