|
In the western release, it can be difficult to tell the difference between Gate and Gate (castle), as the displayed bonuses are the same.
Gate is present in the Prologue, and Chapters 7, 11E, 18xE/19xH, 23E/24H (Lloyd's version), 25H and 30E/32H.
Gate (Castle) is present in Chapters 9, 10, 13, 14, 15E/16H and 24E/26H.
Class categories
For the purposes of terrain effect, The Sacred Stones divides classes into these categories:
Berserkers and the Demon King have unique movement costs, but the latter's do not matter in the main game and can be lumped into infantry A.

Trivia
- In the Japanese version of The Blazing Blade, the terrain bonus for gate (castle) is +3 defense and +20% avoid; gates and thrones both give +3 defense and +30% avoid.
- However, The Official Nintendo Fire Emblem Player's Guide states that standing on a throne gives +3 defense and +30% avoid, which is only true for the Japanese version of the game.[1]
- In the Japanese version of The Sacred Stones, Gorgons are assigned as a flier class.
