45 The Other Veyle Zephia's spell reawakens Veyle's dark personality. Accompanied by a Dark Emblem, she challenges Alear. Used at the beginning of Chapter 17.
46 Veyle's Wish The Four Hounds set sail with Veyle, who regains her will and throws the Ring of the Holy Knight to Alear. Used at the end of Chapter 17.
47 Child of the Fell Dragon Griss sees Alear summon an Emblem with an invocation. He falls into a fit of laughter and reveals a secret. Used at the end of Chapter 20.
48 Marni's Defiance Marni tries, and fails, to destroy the device controlling Veyle. Zephia steps in to deal with Marni. Used at the beginning of Chapter 21.
49 Death of the Divine Dragon Sombron forsakes Veyle, but just as he tries to dispose of her, Alear takes the blow in her stead. Used at the end of Chapter 21.
50 The Shattered Dragonstone In saving Veyle's life, the Divine Dragon falls. The dragonstone shatters, and Veyle learn the idenity of her lost kin. Used at the end of Chapter 21.
51 Gradlon Restored Having claimed all of the rings, Sombron uses their power to transform himself and restore the sunken land of Gradlon. Used at the end of Chapter 21.
52 Memories of a Millennium Ago A millennium-old memory. Gravely hurt from defeated Sombron in a fiery castle, Alear falls into Lumera's arms. Used at the end of Chapter 21.
53 Veyle's Awakening Veyle battles her dark personality and triumphs. Finally under her own control, she revives Alear, Corrupted. Used at the beginning of Chapter 22.
54 A New Emblem Even in death, Alear wishes to keep fighting. The 12 Emblems grant that wish as the Emblems' miracle. Used at the end of Chapter 22.
55 The Four Hounds After Zephia and Griss are defeated, they open up to each other in their final moments. Used at the end of Chapter 23.
