While not a character in Gaiden, one of the Aurum units in this game is replaced with Argentum in the remake.
Argentum appears in the final battle against Duma, like in Gaiden. Unfortunately, he is just as mysterious as the unit he replaced in Gaiden, as no one addresses him and he has no dialogue. Argentum's only description in the help text saying he is associated with the church of Duma. It is possible he was sacrificed to Duma or underwent a related ritual and became some unknown parallel to a witch, as he expresses similar physical traits to witches, including a sickly complexion and eyes with black sclera and white irises.
Argentum does not have any battle quotes.
Argentum does not have any death quotes.
