How long will you place the lives of your friends at risk, Your Highness? You're more clever than that.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

Dolth guards the entrance to the Lost Treescape; his magical presence there, along side Garcia, is what has been causing the spread of swampland in the region.[1]

After he is defeated by Celica, he survives the battle, and persuades Celica to allow him to escort her to Duma Tower. He attacks Mae when she objects to the idea, and this forces Celica to agree to his demands. As she is about to depart with him, the Masked Knight appears and finishes him off.

  1. "A Cantor of the Duma Faithful. After Jedah expunged the sage Halcyon, he took refuge in Sage Hamlet, which lay within the Lost Treescape. Dolth was tasked with manning a fort that stood guard at the entrance to these woods. With their corruptive powers contaminating the very earth they stood upon, both Dolth and Garcia saw the Lost Treescape slowly turn to a poisonous swamp simply due to their presence." — XKAN, FE SoV: Valentia Accordion Page 115: Dolth & Nuibaba Profile Translations, Kantopia, Published: April 5 2018, Retrieved: April 5 2018
