The Astra (Japanese: 流星 Shooting Star) is a weapon first appearing in Fire Emblem Gaiden. In Gaiden, it is a lance which is an extremely rare random drop from gargoyles. It has an extremely high critical stat of fifty. In Fire Emblem Awakening, it is a regalia bow with the effect of granting its wielder the Astra skill. In Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, it is similar to its Gaiden appearance, but is instead a sword. Using it enough times unlocks a combat art known as Astral Blade, which costs ten HP to use but increases hit rate by fifteen and allows the user to strike five times at half power. It is obtained by evolving certain Rusted Swords.

Trivia
- The Astra's critical rate is the highest of any lance actually used in the Fire Emblem series. Among all lances in the series, however, Astra ties for second for highest critical rate with an unused version of the Gáe Bolg in Thracia 776, with both trailing an unused version of the Gungnir in Thracia 776.
