Anew (Japanese: アゲイン Again) is a rare staff in the Fire Emblem series, first appearing in Mystery of the Emblem and appearing in only three games of the series. In its original appearance, it refreshed all of the caster's allies to allow them another movement similar to the dance effect. New Mystery of the Emblem nerfed this effect to only work on one targeted ally, albeit still from anywhere on the map. Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, offering Anew as a white magic spell in an environment that lacks staves, nerfs the effect even further by restricting the effect's range to adjacent allies and tagging it with an exorbitant HP cost, making it Shadows of Valentia's equivalent to the dance effect.
