The Iron Poleax (Japanese: 鉄の戦斧 Iron Battle Axe) is a rare axe-type weapon in the Fire Emblem series, appearing exclusively in Radiant Dawn. It is the weakest and most basic of the game's series of poleax weapons, which are the axe equivalent to blades. Compared to its ordinary counterpart, the Iron Axe, it is much more powerful but has worse accuracy, lower durability, and is much heavier.
