Rend Heaven: Difference between revisions
m (Changed some translations, most notably for me the German translation from Heavensplitter to Splitter of heaven because Himmel was in its genitive case (Himmels), and my other option, "Heaven's splitter", while closer to the original German, was awkward) |
m (Noted that all the other languages can translate as either sky or heaven. I now realize that English is kind of weird for having a different word for sky and for heaven. I also changed the German translation back to the original so that sky would work.) |

Rend Heaven (Japanese: 破天 Tear Sky) is an offensive skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Associated with the Basara class, it gives its user a chance to increase its damage output by using the enemy's offensive stats. When activated it adds half of the enemy's strength or magic to the user's own strength or magic, taking whichever stat the skill's user is currently using to attack the enemy.
In Fire Emblem Heroes, its name is translated as Ruptured Sky, and it is a special skill. Ruptured Sky allows the user's damage output to be boosted by 20% of the target's Attack, and further boosts it to 40% if the target is a non-human foe. Ruptured Sky is considered to be an enhanced variation of Draconic Aura, having a stronger effect and even faster cooldown compared to Draconic Aura and its basic Dragon Gaze form.
In Three Houses, its name is translated as Ruptured Heaven, and it is the personal combat art of Byleth. Only usable with the Sword of the Creator, it boosts the user's might, hit, and crit, and deals bonus damage against dragons.
