The Light Sage (Japanese: 光の賢者ライトセイジ Light Sage) is an advanced Lord-like class which appears only in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. This class is exclusive to Micaiah, one of the game's two protagonists, and is the promoted form of her initial class, the Light Mage. Light Sages continue to wield light magic and also gain access to staves.

The Light Sage's highest stats are its magic and resistance, giving Micaiah powerful magical offense, but she is hindered by the class's mediocre speed and horrid strength stats, often preventing her from taking full advantage of her magic stat. Additionally, the class suffers from a mediocre maximum HP stat which makes its high resistance not particularly useful, and this is worsened by the class's bad defense. All of these flaws add up to hold Micaiah back from achieving her full offensive potential.

Micaiah promotes from Light Mage to Light Sage in an event at the end of Part 1 of the game. The Light Sage class is capable of promoting again to the third-tier Light Priestess class, with Micaiah doing so in another event at the start of the Part IV, Endgame.
