The Spirit (Japanese: 精霊スピリット Spirit) is an enemy-exclusive class appearing only in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Spirits are beings guarded with protecting Ashera, and come in three forms: the Fire Spirit, the Thunder Spirit, and the Wind Spirit, as the units of this class are named. Spirits are known primarily for their high movement, with by far the highest base in the stat among classes in the Fire Emblem series—Spirits have 8 more movement than Wyvern, the class with the next-highest movement at 12. On top of this high Movement, they also have the ability to teleport around the map, further enhancing their mobility.

There are three variants of the Spirit class, each one unique to one of its three forms. Each of them wields the Spirit Tail that matches their weapon type (e.g. the Fire Spirit wields the Fire Tail).

Trivia

• Because the spirits do not have full-fledged battle animations or battle models, their battles will always be seen from the map, no matter the setting. They are the only class in Radiant Dawn that has this distinction.
