The Bow Paladin (Japanese: 弓騎将アローナイト Arrow Knight) is a bow-using class exclusive to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. They ride horses, along with three similar classes of the same game—the Blade Paladin, Lance Paladin, and Axe Paladin classes. The Bow Knight class is enemy-only, but a bow knight would presumably promote to a bow paladin; a bow paladin can then become a Silver Knight.

As a promoted class, they have quite high stats all around—with no outstanding strengths or weaknesses in terms of numbers. Their use of bows gives them a two-space attack range, but they cannot fight in melee range. Also, their horses allow them to move around quickly and rescue many units, but leave them vulnerable to horse-specific weapons. Generally, they are solid front-line units with strong offensive capabilities and sturdy defenses.

Bow Paladin

"Paladin" is a title given to the highest warriors of the court of King Charlemagne.

Japanese

弓騎将アローナイト

Officially romanized as Arrow Knight; literally "bow cavalry general". In Radiant Dawn, all Japanese class names are spelled primarily in kanji (i.e. 弓騎将), with a foreign-language name in katakana applied as furigana (i.e. アローナイト) and used as the basis for the romanized name in the class roll.

French

Paladin arc

Bow Paladin. Abbreviated to Pal. arc in gameplay due to space restrictions.
