Close Ward

Close Ward (Japanese: 明鏡の反撃・近距離 Short-Range Mirror Counterattack) is a passive type A skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; Close Ward comes in only one tier. When a foe using a tome, staff, or breath initiates combat, Close Ward allows its user to counterattack regardless of range, negates effects that allow a foe to target the lower of the user's defensive stats, and boosts its user's attack and resistance.
