Ignis (Japanese: 華炎 Blossoming Flame) is an offensive skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Awakening. Associated with the Grandmaster class, when activated its user unleashes a single attack which adds half of whichever of the user's offensive stat (strength or magic) is not currently being used to the damage dealt to the enemy.

Fire Emblem Cipher
Ignis is present as a skill on one card in Fire Emblem Cipher: B04-083R Time-Lost Child, Morgan. It comes into effect during the player's turn and takes advantage of Morgan's other skill, Endless Potential, which applies the affinities and weapon ranges of all of Morgan's allies to Morgan herself during the player's turn. If Endless Potential has caused Morgan to have 3 or more weapon types, then Ignis activates and gives her a +20 attack power bonus.
Trivia
- When an enemy is struck by an Ignis-backed blow, they are surrounded by a shower of flower petals. The skill's Japanese name, "Blossoming Flame", references this: 華 hana can be taken to mean both "magnificent" and, more commonly, "flower'.
