An average throwing spear used for indirect attacks.

Type

Lance

First game

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade

The Short Spear (Japanese: ショートスピア Short Spear) is a throwing lance which was introduced in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and present in all subsequent games in the Fire Emblem series, except Shadow Dragon, New Mystery of the Emblem, Fates, and Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is a mid-level throwing lance, falling between the Javelin and Spear in terms of power and weapon level, and like these two it is able to attack at both close and distant range.
