The Sword is a relatively unknown sword-type weapon in the Fire Emblem series, appearing exclusively in Fire Emblem Gaiden. Its role in other games in the Fire Emblem series are those of the Iron Sword and the Bronze Sword.
It is a basic weapon for Fighters, Heroes, Priests, Princesses, Villagers, Mercenaries, Myrmidons, and Dread Fighters, with no base might of its own but being wieldable without otherwise having a weapon equipped.
