Wakizashi
| ||||
|
The Wakizashi (Japanese: 飛刀 Flying Katana) is a katana that debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. Unusually for a katana, it is an enhanced-range weapon which can only deal damage from a distance of 2 range. While a strong katana in its own right, it's high-ranked, not the most accurate among katanas, keeps its user from double-attacking, and also makes its user more vulnerable to being double-attacked.

Wakizashi |
A wakizashi (Japanese: 脇差; literally, "side-inserted") is a type of Japanese short sword wielded by samurai in feudal Japan as a secondary weapon and a partner to a standard katana. A conventional wakizashi measures between 12-24 inches (30-60 centimeters) long and was mostly used for close-quarters and indoor combat. |
