The Ink Painting (Japanese: 虹の賢者の墨絵 Rainbow Sage's Ink Painting) is a scroll introduced in Fire Emblem Fates, existing outside the primary scroll hierarchy of Hoshido. The Ink Painting trades might for accuracy in comparison to the like-level Rabbit Spirit, and also allows its wielder to deal extra damage when the enemy initiates the battle; this comes at the cost of the wielder being unable to double-attack, and use does take its toll on the wielder.
The Japanese version of Fates names this item for the enigmatic Rainbow Sage; international versions, however, downplay this scroll's connection to any character.
