Faith redirects here. For the ability of the same name, see Faith (ability). Not to be confused with the light magic from other games in the series.

White magic (Japanese: しろまほう White magic) is a weapon type in the Fire Emblem series apparing in Fire Emblem Gaiden, its remake Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses (where it is known as Faith magic). It is comprised of the game's support spells. Spells not exclusive to Gaiden generally appear as staves in other games in the series. Along with black magic, white magic makes up the broader magic weapon type in the original NES release, but it is split from it in the remake. In Three Houses, some white magic skills are offensive, rather than being exclusively supportive. In the help texts of white magic spells in Three Houses, they are referred to as "light magic", but most of the rest of menus say "white magic".

Note: This table lists all appearances of the weapons in question. They are only classified as white magic in Gaiden, Shadows of Valentia, and Three Houses; only their special properties relevant to their appearances as white magic are listed, and their classifications in other games are noted.
