“ | I'll show everyone that photography is a true form of entertainment! | ” | — Nobu Horinozawa |

Nobu Horinozawa (Japanese: 彫ノ澤 允 Nobu Horinozawa) is a side story character appearing in Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE. He is a cameraman who takes photo shots of female models.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE
Role
Several years prior to the events of Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, Nobu and Maiko Shimazaki collaborated on the "My Complex" series of photo books, with Maiko as the model. The first book was released shortly after Maiko started branching out into other areas of entertainment, aside from modeling. The book had a large impact on the fashion industry, and Nobu and Maiko became a famous duo. Later on, a second book would be published, and a third was planned to be shot in Guam.
However, rumors began to circulate that Nobu and Maiko's relationship was more than just professional, damaging their reputations.
Five years prior to the events of Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, Maiko met Tiki while in a drunken daze, and felt that she had a duty to save the world from the invading Mirages. Due to this, she ended her modeling career and parted ways from Nobu on good terms, though the third My Complex book was never made. Rumors of the duo's supposed relationship died down, and the two would not work together for five years.
Maiko, now president and founder of Fortuna Entertainment, would suggest that rising star Tsubasa Oribe work with Nobu for a special issue of the magazine nan-no, to introduce Tsubasa to modeling. Tsubasa, not having any training on modeling, was embarrassed to be at the photo shoot, and upset Nobu with how uncooperative she was, causing him to leave the photo shoot in frustration.
Meanwhile, Itsuki Aoi and Maiko investigate a series of recent model disappearances, and find that all of the missing models were working with Nobu. Shortly after Tsubasa returns from the photo shoot, Shibuya is attacked by Mirages, with a possessed Nobu reponsible. Maiko goes to confront him alone, but becomes trapped by his Mirage-enhanced camera, unable to move. Nobu enters Illusory Shibuya with Maiko, his 'muse'.
Itsuki and the other Mirage Masters pursue Nobu into the Idolasphere, where they rescue some of the missing models. However, they are unable to save Maiko due to Nobu still being upset about Tsubasa, and temporarily sealing away the group's Mirages with his camera. Itsuki's group looks to My Complex for inspiration, and Tsubasa returns with a modeling performance that thoroughly impresses Nobu. Gangrel, the Mirage controlling Nobu, emerges and is quickly rejected by the photographer for his dismissal of Tsubasa's growth. Itsuki and co defeat the Mirage, freeing Nobu and Maiko. Afterwards, Nobu does not seem to recall the events that occurred in the Idolasphere.
Later on, during Enter-Kingdom, Nobu is in charge of the Muse Fes photography and modeling event. As part of the event, he collects photo submissions from attendees, and compiles the best photos into a special photo book that is published after the event.
In the side story "Godmother", Itsuki and Kiria Kurono secretly arrange for Maiko to tag along with Kiria on a photo shoot in Guam, so that My Complex volume 3 can be made. Nobu approves of the idea, but the special lens he used for My Complex, which could "capture the shape of a soul" was damaged during the events in Shibuya. The original lens was supposedly made by a master artisan, who had since died.
At Tharja's suggestion, Itsuki gets Tiki to craft a replica of the lens from Idolasphere gems and gives it to Nobu, much to his delight. Nobu would organize a surprise photo shoot starring Maiko during the Guam visit, and the people of Fortuna would present a printed copy of My Complex 3 to Maiko at the company's anniversary party.
In a post-credits description, Maiko retires as president of Fortuna and quickly returns to her modeling career. My Complex 3 is officially published, presumably with Nobu's assistance.
