The Emperor Shield (Japanese: 皇帝の槍 Emperor Shield) is a shield that debuted in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It is a replica of the unique shield that Rudolf wields, although he never uses this actual item himself. Its defense boost is on par with the Iron Shield, with the additional drawback of being heavier, but in comparison the Emperor Shield offers a larger selection of combat arts.
