The Warlock (Japanese: ウォーロック Warlock) is an advanced magical class which debuted in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It is the successor of the earlier Mage class.
While the Warlock, Bishop, and Dark Bishop all function as advanced infantry magic classes, all sharing high resistance, the Warlock differentiates itself from the others by focusing primarily on black magic. Its class skills both enhance their potency and number of uses, and its stats provide slightly more magic than the Bishop, and more speed than both of the other two. As a result, the Warlock functions as more of a pure offensive caster, filling a role similar to the Sage of previous games. Like most other magic classes in the game, however, the Warlock suffers from poor movement and lackluster defense.
