Snipers (スナイパー, Sunaipā, Sniper in Japan) are a bow-wielding class present in Fire Emblem. Their first appearance was in Template:FEARHT and have been used in each game of the series.

Snipers are characterized by their outstanding accuracy, which is further enhanced by certain skills in some games. However, they should not be in the front line, as they cannot attack units adjacent to them.

This class is a possible promotion for archers and bow fighters. Usually, snipers cannot be further promoted, except in Template:FEG and Template:FERD, where they can become bow knights or marksmen respectively.
