The Iron Shortbow (Japanese: 鉄の近撃弓 Iron Close-attack Bow) is a close-range bow that debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. It is an enhanced-range variant of the Iron Bow, identical to it in every way except its ability to attack at 1-2 range. It is wielded exclusively by enemy units, giving them an advantage by allowing them to attack in close quarters without being locked into it as with the Mini Bow.
