The Fiend (Japanese: 魔人 Demon Man) is a class which is exclusive to Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake, Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. In Gaiden, it is an enemy-only variation of the Baron class, which starts to appear instead of normal Barons from Chapter 4 onward, and shares all of its stats with the Baron; Shadows of Valentia gives Fiends their own distinct stats and they have been branded as a Terror class in the process.

Trivia
- The Fiend is the only enemy-only variation of a class accessible to the player in Gaiden to appear in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, gaining some distinctions from its parent class in the transition.
- It is also the only class denoted as a Terror in Shadows of Valentia to appear in Gaiden but not be denoted as a monster class there.
- In Fire Emblem Gaiden, Fiends are classified as Barons, with Fiend being the units' names. This trait is shared with the White Dragon, Lich, Deathgoyle, Entombed, Aurum, Cerberus, Naberius, and Hades.
