The Marksman (神射手, Kami Ite, meaning "godly archer"), also referred to as the Sagittary (サジタリー, Sajitarii) class in Japan, is a powerful bow-using class. A rare third-tier class exclusive to Radiant Dawn, it is the final class in the Archer-Sniper class change line.
Marksmen are extremely strong and skillful, being the last in a three-class promotion line. They have high stats in most areas, although their low resistance can be problematic. Additionally, their defense is lower than those of other third-tier units. If attacked from one space away, they cannot counterattack unless using a crossbow.
In battle, their attack range when using normal bows is two or three spaces away, which can be very helpful; this benefit does not affect use of crossbows or longbows. They gain +15 critical chance, which can be very useful. Lastly, they have the Deadeye skill, which has a chance to triple dealt damage and put the enemy to sleep.
