Dark Knight (ダークナイト) is an advanced class debuting in Fire Emblem Awakening. It is one of the class change options available to Mages, and functions very similarly to the Mage Knight class of the Jugdral games.

In Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, there is an unrelated unused class also called "Dark Knight", of no relation to the Awakening incarnation. Able to wield swords and lances, it uses the sprites of the Cavalier as placeholders for its own graphics which, as a result of the class being cut, were never completed.[1]
