Percy: Hyah! Hrrragh! Ree-yaah!
Corrin: Hey, Percy. Getting some solo training in?
Percy: Sure am, Corrin! How else am I gonna be a great knight like Pop someday?
Corrin: That's our Percy. Keep it up, kid!
Percy: Hey! C'mon! Do ya have to say it like that?
Corrin: Like what?
Percy: Like I'm some kinda little kid! I'm a man now, you know!
Corrin: Haha. Yeah, I guess that's true, huh? OK, Percy. I'm sorry. I meant no offense. But you were saying you wanted to be a great knight like your father, right? You must really like him a lot.
Percy: I could like him without wanting to be like him, y'know. What it really is is respect! He's got it so hard, and yet he never gives up no matter what!
Corrin: What do you mean?
Percy: Well, like yesterday I saw him go through all kinds of things! He was hit by lightning, pooped on by wyverns, and trampled by a horse! And that's not even unusual. It's just sort of below-average. Pop goes through so much every day, and yet I've never seen him lose heart. For him, just getting out of bed must take more courage than most ever have!
Corrin: I...see. His life does sound trying. Perhaps there is something I could do to help him...
B Support
Percy: Rrrrrraaah! En garde! Nyah!
Corrin: You're working hard as ever, I see.
Percy: Corrin! I didn't see you there!
Corrin: Is there any way I can help?
Percy: You wanna help me? Really?! That'd be great!
Corrin: OK, then. What would you like me to do?
Percy: Hmmm. I want to practice dodging enemy missiles, so let's see... Ooh! Could you throw that pile of rocks at me? As fast as you can? If you could throw a bunch at the same time, that'd be best!
Corrin: What? At the same time?! Are you sure?
Percy: Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine! Now let 'em fly!
Corrin: OK, if you insist... HRAH!
Percy: Heh. There...there...and there!
Corrin: What? Not a single one hit you. How is that possible?
Percy: Heehee! Right? I dodged them all!
Corrin: I don't know if you dodged them or if they dodged you.
Percy: Huh?
Corrin: It looked like they only missed you because of how they bounced off each other. You have some unbelievable luck.
Percy: What?! Come on! I dodged them because I train really hard! Not because of luck! You don't have to be so rude, you know.
Corrin: I'm sorry. I should have chosen my words more carefully. I didn't mean to take away from your accomplishment. I promise.
Percy: Heh. OK, fine. I forgive you.
Corrin: So Arthur has incredibly bad luck, but his son has incredibly good luck. Their family reunions must be interesting...
Percy: All right! Grab up those rocks and let's go again!
Corrin: Again? OK, but I don't think anything'll change...
A Support
Percy: Hrrrrgrepah! Gndlifmrrrjkr!
Corrin: Percy!
Percy: Corrin! Come by to help me train again?
Corrin: Bingo! What did you have in mind this time?
Percy: I want to practice avoiding enemy attacks again!
Corrin: So you want me to throw rocks at you again?
Percy: Heehee! Not quite! I've got a secret weapon today.
Corrin: A secret weapon?
Percy: Ta-DA!
Corrin: Wait. This is a hornets' nest!
Percy: Yup! And I want you to hit it with that stick over there. Then they should all fly out and head for me.
Corrin: You're joking, right?
Percy: Nope! I'm going to dodge every single one of them.
Corrin: Are you insane?! No way!
Percy: But I won't learn anything if I don't push my limits.
Corrin: But you still HAVE limits! Some things are impossible!
Percy: Oh. It's impossible? And here I thought it was a great idea... Oh well. I'll just get rid of the nest then. *fwip* *thud*
Corrin: Wh-why did you throw it away?! Oh gods! They're coming for you—! Wait...wait...no. They're not coming for you. They're com— Oh no! NO! NOOO!
Percy: Whoops! Sorry, Corrin!
Corrin: AGGHGHGHHH!

Percy: Hyah! Wha-bammy! Take that!
Corrin: Hello, Percy. Boning up on your axe skills?
Percy: Yep!
Corrin: Your devotion to your training is very admirable. Do you ever take a day off?
Percy: Nope! I want to be a great knight like my dad as soon as possible. If I'm gonna do that, I hafta practice every day, right? Oh! I just had an idea. Maybe you could help me train! Whaddaya say?
Corrin: Of course! I'd be delighted to help you.
Percy: Woohoo! OK, then grab a sword and let's duke it out! The first to score four points wins!
Corrin: All right. I won't go easy on you though.
Percy: I wouldn't ask for anything less!
Corrin: En garde! Hey...wait a minute. Those clouds sure are coming in quick. Why is the sky green...? Oh no. Percy! Quick! We have to take cover!
Percy: *plonk* Take that!
Corrin: Huh?
Percy: *kabonk* Aaaand that! And this! *plink-plonk* Wow. I won...against Corrin... I'M A CHAMPIONNNNNNN!
Corrin: OK, yeah, sure, but forget about that! We need to seek shelter before— Before... Huh. The tornado disappeared. What just happened?
Percy: OK, round two! ReadysetGO! *kabonk*
Corrin: Percy! Cut it out!

Percy: Hi, Corrin.
Corrin: Percy? What's wrong? You're looking a bit glum. Don't you normally practice your blade work this time of day?
Percy: Yeah. But I'm not even gonna bother practicing anymore. Even if I don't practice, I always win anyways.
Corrin: What do you mean?
Percy: I mean I always win because I'm just really, really lucky. You saw it yourself, remember? Like when we fought the other day.
Corrin: Wait, you mean the tornado that distracted me and went away?
Percy: Yeah! And it gave me the perfect chance I needed to win. That's exactly the sort of thing I mean. Stuff like that always happens when I spar. The second I'm about to lose, the blade of their sword snaps. Or a mole pops out of the ground and they trip! Or a sinkhole swallows them up. That's how I always win. By luck. Not skill.
Corrin: So that's it? You're just gonna stop practicing?
Percy: Can you blame me?! No matter how much I try, it's pointless. No one will ever acknowledge my skills. They'll just blame it all on luck. And the worst part is that they'll be right.
Corrin: Tell me again what you want to be someday.
Percy: Huh? I want to be a great knight like my dad.
Corrin: What is it about your dad that makes you think he's a great knight?
Percy: He's super determined, and he'll fight with all he's got to overcome any obstacle!
Corrin: And do you think you could be like that if you didn't train and work hard?
Percy: ...No, I guess not. That stuff comes from the inside.
Corrin: Exactly.
Percy: Thanks, Corrin. I guess I'll keep training after all. I'll practice lots and lots and work hard each day. And someday, I'll show everyone that I can be a great knight too! I promise!
Corrin: I believe in you, Percy. I think you'll be a legend someday.
A Support
Percy: Hah! Ahhhh! GAAAAAAH!
Corrin: Percy! I see you're back to practicing again.
Percy: Mhm! Can't become a gallant knight relying on luck alone!
Corrin: Got that right! Would you like to train with me again today?
Percy: Sure! That'd be great!
Corrin: All right! I won't lose this time!
Percy: Time to show off the results of my training! HYAH! Take that!
Corrin: Ack! You're stronger than I'd thought! But I'm just getting started! Take this! Hm? What's...that? BIRDS! Biiiirds! They're coming right at us! There must be hundreds of them!
Percy: Hey! Eyes on me!
Corrin: I-I know, but— GAH! And now cats?! Where did they even come from?! They're...they're tickling my feet. I can't move!
Percy: Take that! *kabonk*
Corrin: Towels! I'm drowning in towels! NO! Not locusts! AGGHH! Why beeeeeees! Wha—my cape! It's wrapped around me! I'm gonna trip— GAHHHHH!
Percy: You're wide open! *thwack*
Corrin: Aww. I lost again...
Percy: I won! I won! Woohoo! Though...I probably had some help from my good luck again.
Corrin: W-well, they DO say luck is just another skill, right? But I have to say, that first blow you landed was masterful. I believe you've improved.
Percy: You mean it?! For real?
Corrin: I mean it. You've definitely improved.
Percy: Wow! Thanks, Corrin! I hope you'll keep training with me!
Corrin: Of course. I'd be delighted!

Percy: Corrin!
Corrin: Hello, Percy. What's wrong? You look out of breath.
Percy: Um...well... I was hoping you'd take this!
Corrin: Is that a toy ring?
Percy: Yep, it's the best I can do right now, but maybe someday I can get you a better one. I just really wanted to get something for you. W-WAH!
(Percy falls)
Corrin: Percy! Are you OK?!
Percy: Whoops! I fell! Sorry! Hey, wait. Where's my ring?
Corrin: I think that bird just grabbed it and flew over there.
Percy: What?! No! Give it back! Give it back! Oh! Hooray! It dropped it! Er. Wait. This isn't the ring I had. Oh wow! It's a real ring! Score!
Corrin: You really are the luckiest guy in the world.
Percy: OK, now hold out your hand! Ta-da! It's yours now!
Corrin: Thank you very much for the gift, but what's the occasion?
Percy: Oh! Right! Um, I just wanted to tell you I like you a lot, Corrin!
Corrin: What?!
Percy: I always suspected I was the luckiest person in the world, but now I know it! After all, I got to meet you! So, how do you feel about me? Will you go out with me?
Corrin: I don't think you're the luckiest person in the world.
Percy: Huh?
Corrin: That honor is mine. I'm certain. To have someone like you care so deeply for me...
Percy: You mean—
Corrin: Of course. I'll be yours if you'll have me, Percy.
Percy: WOOHOO! Yay! Yeah-hah!
Corrin: Teehee. How about we go on our first date right now?
Percy: Sounds good to me!
(Confession Scene)
Percy: Oh, gosh, I really am lucky! I get to marry you AND ride a dragon every day! Can Ace sleep in our room?

Corrin: Welcome back, Percy. Yes, it's on the table.
Percy: Yay! All right, time to dig in!
Corrin: Hold it right there! Did you wash your hands?
Percy: Er, whoops! I guess not. I'll go do that real quick.
Corrin: Heehee. You don't have to rush. There's plenty of food.
Percy: But I gotta eat fast!
Corrin: Oh? Do you have somewhere to be?
Percy: No, I just gotta get back to training. "Eat fast, train fast"—that's MY motto!
Corrin: That's funny, because I've never heard it before...
Percy: Er, I mean, it's a new motto, OK?
Corrin: Heehee. OK, OK, whatever you say, dear.
Percy: Anyway, I gotta train fast so I can get strong enough to protect you!
Corrin: Oh? That's very sweet of you, dear. But, either way, you need to take your time when you eat, OK? Otherwise you'll get a tummyache. And if that happens, you can't train, right?
Percy: Oh! Yeah, I guess you're right! OK, then I'll eat it all real slow and careful like!
Corrin: Perfect. Now, bon appétit!

Percy: Hey, Mom! I'm back!
Corrin: Percy! Are you OK?! Your knee is bleeding!
Percy: Aw, no need to get all upset about it. I just scraped it a bit.
Corrin: That's terrible! We've got to clean this right away!
Percy: Aw, come on! I'm fine, really.
Corrin: You are NOT fine! What if it festers and we have to cut the whole leg off? Now come here, and I'll wash and put some medicine on it.
Percy: Mom, I TOLD you, I'm OK! You're such a worrywart...
Corrin: Of course I am! I'm your mother after all. Hold still.
Percy: Ouch! Couldn't you be a little more gentle?
Corrin: Oh my. Is this little boo-boo bothering you so much? How are you going to protect me one day if you can't handle this little ouchie?
Percy: Pffft! Whatever! I can handle it! It doesn't hurt at all! Put some more on it!
Corrin: There we go. All better. Now how did this happen anyway?
Percy: I was running down that steep trail on the mountain, and I tripped.
Corrin: Isn't that next to a cliff?! And you got away with just this little scratch? You could have died! I forbid you from ever doing something like that again! Thank the gods you were born so lucky...
Percy: But...but...I have to train, Mom!
Corrin: I know you do, but you don't have to be foolish about it. You can train hard and stay safe at the same time. Trust me. Now, promise me you'll never do something like this again. Promise!
Percy: OK... I'm sorry, Mom. I promise.
Corrin: It's fine. So long as you understand. Now, let's dig in!
Percy: Woohoo! I'm starving!
A Support
Percy: Hey, Mom...
Corrin: Percy? What's the matter?
Percy: I guess it's just...I wonder if I'll ever be strong enough to protect you.
Corrin: Why do you think that?
Percy: Because there are just so many people we've met who are stronger than me. And there are probably people who are even stronger than them out there! People and monsters and stuff on a level I can't even imagine... And when I think about that, I...I don't know what to do.
Corrin: I see. Well, I don't think you have to worry about that. I think, if you try hard enough, you can become stronger than anyone.
Percy: Really? You mean it?
Corrin: Yes, I do. One day, you'll become the strongest person in the whole world. I can just tell. Call it mother's intuition.
Percy: But "one day" isn't good enough! What if a big evil enemy shows up before then?
Corrin: Now that's something you really don't have to worry about. Until you become strong enough, I'll be the one who protects YOU.
Percy: Mom...
Corrin: And then, when you're stronger than everyone else—then you can protect me.
Percy: OK! Sounds good to me, Mom! I'm gonna bust my tail to get to that point, then. I promise!
Corrin: Perfect. And always remember that I'll be here to help you at every step.
Percy: Yahoo! Thank you so much, Mom!

Percy: But... How can I get strong enough to protect you if I quit training?
Felicia: I know you're just doing this because you want to watch over me. It's very sweet. But the last thing I want is for you to endanger yourself. I wouldn't want someone who didn't value their own safety to protect me. I care about you more than anything and couldn't stand to see you get hurt.

Percy: Mom! I have returned!
Azura: Welcome back, Per... Percy! What happened to your knee?!
Percy: Never fear, Mom! It is only a small scratch—a sign of my dedicated training.
Azura: You poor thing. Come here and let's get it disinfected.
Percy: Disinfect? No... I'm sure it'll be fine. We can just leave it be.
Azura: It is not going to be fine! That's not how injuries work. Now come here; I'm just gonna put a little medicine on it.
Percy: I'm telling you, I'm fine, but if it will make you feel better...
Azura: A mother is allowed to worry over her children, no matter how old they are. Here—hold still.
Percy: Ouch! By the gods, that stings! Couldn't you be a bit more gentle?
Azura: Oh, Percy. If you can't tolerate this, how are you going to be able to protect me?
Percy: What? No, just then I was...pretending! Yeah, I was pretending it hurt! That's how I would lull a bad guy into a false sense of security. Jeez, Mom, I can't believe you fell for it. Go on, more medicine! I can handle it all!
Azura: Don't be silly, Percy. I only needed that tiny amount.
Percy: *phew*
Azura: How did you hurt your knee, anyway?
Percy: Oh, I was sprinting down a mountain, but I didn't see a branch and tripped. I rolled a ways down before I got my feet under me again.
Azura: You rolled down a mountain and only cut your knee a little? You definitely don't have your father's luck. Just the same, you have to promise me that you'll lay off the dangerous training.
Percy: But... How can I become strong enough to protect you if I do?
Azura: I really do appreciate that you want to protect me, Percy, but... If it means you doing dangerous things, then I'll have no part in it. You understand that I'm just looking out for you by saying so, right?
Percy: You're right. I'm sorry, Mom!

Percy: Hey, Mom...
Azura: Hello, Percy. What's the matter? You look a little down.
Percy: I'm not sure if I can get strong enough to protect you, Mom.
Azura: What makes you say that?
Percy: Well, I've seen a lot of really strong people around the camp. It seems like they're all stronger than me. I'm worried that there are foes much, much stronger than me out there. When I think about running into one of them before I'm ready, I lose confidence...
Azura: I see what you mean, but you really shouldn't worry, Percy. Of course there are stronger people, but one day you'll be stronger than all of them.
Percy: Do you really think that, Mom? Or are you just trying to make me feel better?
Azura: Oh, I really do believe that, dear. A mother just knows these things. I can tell by how committed you are to growing stronger, if you must know. I think...someday you'll be the strongest person in the world.
Percy: But someday isn't good enough! Evil won't wait for me to become strong enough to defeat it!
Azura: Don't you worry about that. Until you're strong enough, I'll be protecting you. I'm pretty strong too, you know. And once you've become the strongest person ever, you can take over. How's that sound?
Percy: Yeah...that sounds like a good plan. It's a deal! I'm gonna work so hard to become strong, no enemy will dare to cross my path!
Azura: And I'll cheer you on! But for now, let's have dinner. I even made your favorite dish.
Percy: Woohoo! Thanks, Mom!

Percy: Oops, I forgot. I'll run and wash them now.
Mozu: What's your hurry? We've got plenty of food.
Percy: I have to eat fast... Every moment I'm not training is a missed opportunity. Eat fast, train fast! I need to get big and strong quickly. How else will I be able to keep you safe?
Mozu: You're going to protect me, Percy? That is so sweet.
Percy: I promise, I'll never let anything bad happen to you. You can count on me!
Mozu: OK, darling. But please, do me a favor and chew your food properly. You won't be able to train if you have a tummyache.

Percy: No really, it's OK! I'm sure it will be fine if we leave it alone.
Mozu: If that cut gets infected, you won't be singing the same tune. Now, sit yourself down.
Percy: Geez, don't be such a worrywart.
Mozu: I'm your mother. I can't help but worry from time to time. Stand still. I'm gonna apply some ointment.

Mozu: If you can't deal with a little pain, how are you supposed to protect me, Percy?
Percy: What? No, I was just...pretending! Yeah, I was totally just pretending it hurt. I can't believe you actually fell for that. Go ahead, put on more medicine. I can take it!
Mozu: Heh, I bet. So how did you end up hurting yourself?
Percy: Well, I was running down a mountain as fast as I could. But I lost my footing and tripped.
Mozu: And you only got this bitty little cut? That's some luck you've got, darling. You gotta knock off this foolhardy nonsense. I don't want you to get hurt.
Percy: But... How can I get strong enough to protect you if I quit?
Mozu: I know your heart is in the right place. Really, I do. But I'd never want to be protected by anybody who enjoys courting danger. You're the most important person in the whole world to me. I need you to try and keep yourself safe.
Percy: You're right... I'm sorry.

Percy: You're just trying to make me feel better.
Mozu: I'm telling the truth. Please, don't worry. I've seen all your hard work. Someday, I bet you'll become the strongest person in the whole wide world.

Mozu: I'll keep you safe and sound until you've finished training. Then once you've become strong enough, you can protect me. All right, Percy?

Arthur: Well... Hmm, how do I put this? Has Ace been doing all right? Acting normally?
Percy: Of course! He's a little ball of energy day in and day out.
Arthur: He hasn't been aggressive or more ferocious than usual lately?
Percy: No, not at all. He seems totally normal.
Arthur: Well then, that's good to hear. I'm sure everything is fine.

Percy: What are you talking about? I could see you peeking from around the corner. It was pretty obvious...
Arthur: Well, ummm...
Percy: Geez, what's up, Pop? You really haven't been acting like yourself lately. Is something wrong?
Arthur: Well, I'll be honest with you. I've been a little worried about the dragon I gave you.
Percy: About Ace? Why? Last time we talked, you seemed really happy to hear that we got along so well.
Arthur: I recently discovered that the dragon's parents were both very nefarious creatures.
Percy: Nefarious?! But why?
Arthur: They had cruel personalities, Son. It was my bad luck to choose the wrong egg. And then, like a fool, I gave it to you. I've just been afraid that you were holding back something... You can always tell me the truth. I just want you to be safe.
Percy: So you were just trying to sneak a peak and make sure I was OK? You've been watching us play for a while. Isn't it obvious? Ace is the best buddy in the world!
Arthur: Well, he is a handsome devil, and he appears to be obedient to his master. I'm tempted to call him the ideal image of a dragon.
Percy: Well obviously! Don't worry, Pop. There's nothing wrong with him.
Arthur: Hmm, if you say so. Heh, perhaps your good fortune blew away my bad luck... I'm so happy! *sniffle*
Percy: What's wrong, Pop? You're all hunkered down like the other day.
Arthur: I'm just trying to hide the fact that your brilliance brings tears to my eyes. Don't mind me! *sniffle*
Percy: Oh, Pop, you're not doing a very good job of hiding your tears!
