“ | Hey, Robin... Is it me, or do the enemy swordmasters look WAY too comfy in there? It's like they haven't even noticed you. ...Who knew the dead liked to soak? Maybe you can pick them off with bows or magic before they snap out of it. | ” | — The merchant |

Hot-Spring Scramble (Japanese: 絆の秘湯 Secret hot spring of bonds) is a downloadable content xenologue chapter in Fire Emblem Awakening. As a xenologue chapter, it does not officially bear a chapter number; if all xenologues are purchased and its list is viewed at the Outrealm Gate, Hot-Spring Scramble is the twenty-first one from the top in the North American version of the game. Officially in Japan and unofficially in North America, Hot-Spring Scramble is part of the second series of DLC releases, a distinction that does not exist in the PAL regions.
This chapter was first made available on November 15, 2012 in Japan, May 9, 2013 in North America, and May 29-30 in the PAL regions.
In this chapter, the Shepherds find themselves at a hot spring teeming with Risen. The Shepherds must fend off the Risen while not letting the Risen dampen their hot spring experience.

Hot-Spring Scramble/Conversations
Chrom and the Shepherds arrive in and Outrealm featuring hot springs. They are approached by Anna, who has prepared the springs for the Shepherds to relax; however, Lissa arrives and informs them that Risen are occupying the springs, and the Shepherds move to defeat them. As the battle begins, Anna informs the Shepherds that a popularity poll was held for the child characters, and the four winners—Owain, Inigo, Lucina, and Severa—will receive special yukatas as a prize.
After the battle, Anna thanks Chrom for removing the Risen and encourages the Shepherds to enjoy the hot springs and a meal. Anna uses the opportunity to take pictures of the Shepherds bathing with a camera tome; she first encounters Robin, but gets in a fight and ruins the tome in doing so.

Note: The returning characters list represents the minimum characterbase recruitable by the point the player can first access the Outrealm Gate. If more chapters along the main story path are cleared, or if any paralogues are cleared, the player can have access to characters not listed here by the point the chapter is first started. As bonus units are recruitable at the player's discretion, the returning characters list does not list them either.
All Swordmasters on both sides of the conflict wear yukatas in this chapter.

Trivia
- Owain, Inigo, Lucina, and Severa received special yukata scenes and conversations with Robin as a result of those characters winning a Japanese popularity poll among second-generation characters.
- During Lissa's first conversation with Emmeryn, she uses Chrom's voice clip of "Hold on! I'm coming!"
- In the US English release of this DLC, Nah mentions a "true dragonstone" in her conversation with Kjelle, which is the name of the Dragonstone+ in the Japanese version. This is presumably an oversight by the localization team, and was corrected in the European version of the DLC to explicitly name the Dragonstone+.
