Lissa (Japanese: リズ Liz) is the princess of the Kingdom of Ylisse, the younger sister of Prince Chrom and Exalt Emmeryn, and a member of The Shepherds.
Fire Emblem Awakening
Role
Lissa joins Chrom and Robin in the prologue. She is with Chrom and Frederick when they find Robin unconscious in a field before the chapter's battle starts, and she remains with them throughout the game. Lissa is the first one to notice the town in the prologue is in trouble, and is awake with Chrom in the next chapter when the Risen come through a time portal. When the Risen attack her, she is quickly protected by a swordsman who calls himself "Marth". After the event, Lissa is the one who introduces Robin to the Shepherds.
After Chrom defeats Marth in Ferox, Lissa learns her friend, Maribelle, was kidnapped and suggests Chrom goes to save her. Later, after an assassination attempt on her older sister, Emmeryn, fails, she learns Emmeryn was captured and is to be put to death by order of King Gangrel of Plegia. When Emmeryn takes her own life to spare Chrom any further conflict, Lissa is devastated. If Lissa is married by or after Chapter 13, an additional paralogue opens where she meets her son from the future, Owain.

Fire Emblem Heroes
Role
There are two different variations of Lissa available to Heroes, both of which are tied to her storyline appearance in Awakening. The normal variation of Lissa is one of the characters available to be summoned by players from the game's initial launch, and is also the sixth of twelve characters that are part of the game's Hero Battle rotation; she was first made available via Hero Battle at 7:00 AM UTC on February 7, 2017 through 6:59 AM UTC on Feburary 8, 2017, and her Hero Battle has been available during the same time period every twelve days thereafter. A winter variation of Lissa was made available between the period of December 18, 2017 through January 1, 2018 as part of the summoning event surrounding the launch of the Winter's Envoy update.
The normal variation of Lissa is one of a select few characters to have been inherently available at all five rarities, although inherent availability at five-star rarity has been limited to summoning focuses.

Despite being part of the royal family of Ylisse, she doesn't bear the mark of the exalt. This causes her to worry about being the true sister of Chrom and Emmeryn. She is relieved to know her son, Owain, has the mark, proving her legitimacy. In her support with Chrom, she doesn't think she does anything to help the army. This proves to be untrue when he tells her that she motivates the entire army. She is also very self-conscious about her snorting.

Endings
Lissa, Sprightly Cleric (single ending)
Lissa's wild nature led her to travel the world and relay its wisdoms to her brother. The princess's exploits live on in many a droll tale told by the crackling fire.
Robin, High Deliverer & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Many wrote of Robin's legendary exploits, but accounts of his origins and character varied. Scholars, poets, and bards agreed on one thing alone—he loved his wife, Lissa, above all else.
Frederick, Cold Lieutenant & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
As Ylisse's new knight captain, Frederick took charge of keeping the peace and training new recruits. Lissa often visited his charges in town to report concerns—and transgressions—to her husband.
Virion, Archest Archer & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Virion returned home to Rosanne, where he was labeled a traitor and a coward, or else ignored entirely. But none of it fazed his wife, Lissa, who won the populace over with good old-fashioned charm.
Stahl, Viridian Knight & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Stahl continued his service as an Ylissean knight and led crucial missions across the realm. His scattered nature blended well with his wife Lissa's cheerful banter, making for a happy life indeed.
Vaike, Zero to Hero & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Vaike returned to the streets that raised him and was welcomed as a hero and brother to all. Still, he was no match for Lissa, who fit in with the people instantly despite her royal upbringing.
Kellam, Oft Forgotten & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Lissa's wild nature led her to travel the world and relay its wisdoms to her brother. These exploits live on in droll tales told by the campfire. Her husband's name has been lost to history.
Lon'qu, Gynophobe & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Lon'qu returned to Regna Ferox and served as Basilio's right-hand man. Lissa decided to leave Ylisstol and join her husband, strengthening the bond between the realms even further.
Ricken, Upcoming Mage & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
While continuing to study magic, Ricken realized how childish some of his actions had been. He and Lissa learned from these mistakes and grew old and wise together.
Gaius, Candy Stealer & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Gaius never lost his sweet tooth, though he ultimately returned to less savory enterprises. Lissa always insisted on going along, and the two survived many a comically dire predicament together.
Gregor, Swell Sword & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
After the war, Gregor briefly sank into a life of excess, but when Lissa decided to travel the world incognito, her worldly husband came along to keep the roads safe and the conversation lively.
Libra, Fetching Friar & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Many an unfortunate child found joy in the small orphanage Libra and his wife built after the war. The children loved Libra like a mother and treated Lissa as one of their own.
Henry, Twisted Mind & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Henry settled down with Lissa and turned out to be a surprisingly good father. Their newborn son, however, developed a notably bizarre personality—in no small part because of his colorful parents.
Donnel, Village Hero & Lissa, Sprightly Cleric
Donnel returned to his tiny village and built a happy life with his mother and Lissa. Still, the latter insisted on breaking up the monotony, and the couple often traveled to far-flung markets.
