Nomads (遊牧民, Yuubokumin, Nomad in Japan) are a bow-wielding class present in Fire Emblem. This class is exclusive to Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade and Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, as all nomads hail from the tribes of Sacae in Elibe. Arch knights in Jugdral and bow knights in Tellius are similar classes.
Nomads are basically mounted archers, and so, they can attack from distance but not units adjacent to them. Being on horseback gives them great mobility but also vulnerability to anticavalry weapons, such as longswords, horseslayers and rapiers.
All characters of this basic class can be promoted to nomadic troopers.
