Avatar (マイユニット, Maiyuniito), also referred to as Jase (ジェイス, Jeisu) or Reflet (ルフレ, Rufure) in Japan, from Japanese previews and the official Japanese Super Smash Bros. website (which refers to him/her as Reflet), and Robin in North American previews/the official English Super Smash Bros. websites, is a special playable character in Fire Emblem Awakening. Awakening is the second game in which a customizable player character has appeared, after Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, though this time around the unit's class is predetermined as Tactician. This new class enables the Avatar to wield both swords and magic tomes.

At the beginning of the game, Chrom and Lissa find Avatar unconscious on the ground. Avatar has lost his/her memory, but somehow already knows Chrom's name. He/she joins Chrom's vigilante force, serving as his tactician.
