The Holy Crown is a promotion item exclusive to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The Holy Crown serves to promote Mist from her second-tier class, Cleric, to her third-tier class, Valkyrie. In the Japanese version, this serves as the only method of promoting Mist to a Valkyrie; international versions allow Mist to promote from Cleric to Valkyrie upon reaching level 21, but retains the Holy Crown as an option. Should Mist promote via level, the Holy Crown becomes a useless item; it does not have a sell value, hence cannot fetch gold when sold.
