Lunge (Japanese: 切り込み Cut Through) is a skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Fates. In Fates, Lunge is a class skill associated with the Wyvern Rider class, whereas in Heroes it is a passive type B skill (unlike most passive skills in Heroes, Lunge comes in only one tier), and in Echoes: Shadows of Valentia it is a weapon skill associated with the Ilwoon in the vanilla game as well as Clive's Lance via DLC. Lunge allows the user to switch places with the enemy at the end of a battle; in Fates and Echoes, this is done on command, where as in Heroes it is done automatically after a battle initiated by the skill's user.
