Shield Pulse (Japanese: 盾の鼓動 Shield Beating) is a three-tiered passive type B skill which debuted in Fire Emblem Heroes; the individual tiers of the skill are known as Shield Pulse 1, Shield Pulse 2, and Shield Pulse 3 in order from lowest to highest. If a unit has Shield Pulse equipped alongside a special skill which activates when they are attacked, such as Pavise, Aegis, Miracle, or their variants, they will have their special cooldown reduced at the start of Turn 1; tiers 2 and 3 also reduce damage taken by 5 points when the special activates, and tier 3 increases the special cooldown reduction.
Shield Pulse may only be used by melee units in the infantry and armored movement categories.
