Life Ring is an item in the Fire Emblem series, appearing in both games taking place in Jugdral. The Life Ring has a different effect in each appearance.
The Life Ring is an accessory item in its first appearance, Genealogy of the Holy War. In that game, the holder has anywhere from 3 to 10 HP restored at the start of a turn. The Life Ring was changed into a stat-boosting item in its only other appearance, Thracia 776, where it served as the Jugdral parallel to other games' Angelic and Seraph Robes, permanently boosting the user's HP by 7 when used.
Like most stat boosters that appear in the Jugdral games, the Life Ring was retired after Thracia 776 in favor of continued use of the Angelic Robe.
