Eirika (エイリーク, Eiriiku, translated as Eirik in Japan) is the princess of Renais, and she rules along with her twin brother Ephraim. She is a main protagonist of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones but has not appeared in any other Fire Emblem games.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Role

Eirika starts out as the main character, accompanied by Seth in the prologue. She is the princess of Renais, which has just been captured by Grado. Her father Fado, the king of Renais, sends her away to go to the safe nation of Frelia. Her brother Ephraim is missing at the time, but she still travels to Frelia worried. She gathers others on her journey, and after arriving at Frelia and meeting her friend Tana, she decides to travel to Grado and find her brother. After a reunion, the two return to Frelia to plan for their next course of action. At this point, the player can choose either Eirika's route or Ephraim's route, two different possible ways that the story can go. If Eirika's route is chosen, she goes to the countries of Rausten and Jehanna to warn them of the war. The two soon reunite, and go to Renais to receive the two sacred weapons. Eirika receives the sacred sword, Sieglinde. The two continue to journey, and soon defeat the Demon King, Fomortiis.
