Astra (流星, Ryuusei, meaning Shooting Star; or 流星剣, Ryuuseiken, meaning Shooting Star Sword) is a combat skill which debuted in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. When activated, in all appearances the user deals five consecutive strikes; some games slightly vary its effects.
In Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War and Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Shooting Star Sword is a personal skill, associated exclusively with members and relatives of the royal family of Isaac. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Astra is the mastery skill of the Swordmaster and Trueblade classes. Astra has been sighted in a preview video for Fire Emblem Awakening, being used by Ronku.
