The '''Solar Brace''' (Japanese: {{hl|太陽の腕輪|Taiyō no udewa}} ''Sun Bracelet'') is a [[class change]] [[item]] exclusive to {{FE8}}. It is used to promote the [[lord]] character [[Ephraim]], and prior to this point is worn by him throughout the game's events and plays a relatively large role in the game's plot.

The Solar Brace is one of two keys to the seal which protected the [[Sacred Stone (object)|Sacred Stone]] of [[Renais]] and the country's [[Regalia#In Magvel|Sacred Twin]] weapons, [[Siegmund]] and [[Sieglinde]]; the other key is the Solar Brace's twin, the [[Lunar Brace]] worn by his sister [[Eirika]].  The Solar Brace was worn by [[Ephraim]] as a gift from his father, King [[Fado]], who never told him or Eirika of the bracelets' significance; unlike Eirika, Ephraim would not learn the truth about it from [[Seth]] until much later.<ref>{{Cite|'''Seth:''' The real Sacred Stone of Renais lies beneath the royal castle.
