Said to be the work of an unidentified master craftsman,<ref>{{Cite|A unique bow made by a master craftsman. It's powerful but difficult to wield.|Double Bow item description|Path of Radiance}}</ref> it possesses different and unique [[range]]s between its appearances: ''Path of Radiance'' and ''Awakening'' have it act as a statistically vastly improved [[Longbow]], whereas in ''Radiant Dawn'' it instead is capable of attacking both at close range and at a distance, as per [[crossbow]]s.
