Silver Axe: Difference between revisions

From Fire Emblem Wiki, your source on Fire Emblem information. By fans, for fans.
(I haven't done research on the requirement, but I ASSUME you need Steel Axe for characters like Anna to be able to purchase Silver Axe. Basically, you upgrade your Heroes in FEH.)

Silver Axe

FESK Silver Axe.png
Artwork of a Silver Axe from the Fire Emblem Trading Card Game.

An axe whose mighty blows offset its steep price.

Type

Axe

First game

Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem

The Silver Axe (Japanese: 銀の斧 Silver Axe) is a rare basic axe which was introduced in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and is present in every game since. It is the last and strongest in the line of basic axes, surpassing the Iron and Steel Axes in might, but it requires a high weapon rank to use, and is much more expensive and usually has much lower durability than its weaker counterparts.

Trivia

  • Although there are no axe-wielding playable units at all in Book 2 of Mystery of the Emblem, the player still receives Silver Axes somewhat regularly in it. These axes are meant to be sold for a decent sum of money.
