[[Sigurd]] and his companions take refuge in [[Silesse]] under the protection of Queen [[Lahna]]. During this time, [[Quan]], [[Ethlyn]], and [[Finn]] depart to raise an army in [[Leonster]] and properly help Sigurd. However, the king's brothers [[Maios]] and [[Daccar]] launch a rebellion to seize control of Silesse with the support of [[Andrey]] and the traitorous [[Grannvale]] dukes. Sigurd battles his way through Silesse and puts down the rebellion. In the aftermath, he learns that [[Lombard]] and his forces have conquered Lubeck Castle to the east and are preparing to invade Silesse. In order to prevent them from getting caught up in his conflict with Lombard, Sigurd decides to face the traitors head on.
