Analysis
Analysis
Silvia joins in Chapter 2 alongside Lewyn. She's a dancer with very low stats apart from speed and her growths are just as low apart from a decent resistance growth due to her minor Bragi Blood, but this isn't her purpose, as she fills an important role for Sigurd and his army: with her dances, she can give extra turns to units that are next to her when they already acted. In this game, the dancer class has been buffed, allowing her to refresh four units at a time instead of just une, making her invaluable to get the other units across the maps or to give them more combat. In Chapter 4, if she is the one to visit the second-to-last village near the first enemy castle, she will receive the Barrier Sword, which greatly increases her resistance.
analysis
As a unit
Silvia is a Dancer who joins in Chapter 2 alongside Lewyn. Silvia primarily offers utility through her dances, refreshing up to four adjacent units, greatly increasing the speed at which enemies are defeated or distance is traversed, especially if those units are strong mounted units such as Sigurd or Lachesis. However, as an infantry unit, she will fall behind any mount she dances for, and may not catch up to other infantry units that get ahead of her. She can use the Leg and Knight Rings well, and while both are very contested she is one of the best users of both, with Sigurd being the main competition for the Leg Ring. Silvia cannot obtain the Leg or Knight Rings directly (unless she kills Pizare for the Leg Ring, which is a very difficult task), and must purchase the former for 20,000 gold and the latter for 40,000 gold. Silvia starts near the village that provides the Bargain Band, the cost of each, though the Bargain Band is also an item many units may want, and Silvia may still struggle to obtain the required gold. With how poor her Arena performance is, Dew is practically mandatory for granting her these rings. If Edain obtained the Rescue staff, Lachesis can use it to keep Silvia up with the cavalry as well.

Silvia's skills are a mixed bag. She has Adept, which triggers by chance based off her speed, but even if it triggers, she has terrible strength and can only use C rank swords, meaning that she can't do much with it. Her other skill, Miracle, works well on her due to her good avoid, but it requires her to have low HP. She also suffers from the large maps in the game. She is the best candidate for the Leg Ring, which allows her to dance for more units from farther distances, but she has difficulty in getting money without villages, Dew or the Bargain Band, which is very difficult to get.
Silvia offers little aside from her dance utility. With her low strength and low weapon level, her combat is poor; any training is primarily for her own defense. As she lacks Follow-Up, she cannot double enemies, but her high speed can prevent enemies from doubling her—in Chapter 2 with a Slim Sword, only Waltz and Erinys have the attack speed to double her, and only by one point, which can be fixed by unequipping her. Her low HP, defense, and resistance limit her survivability—every enemy in Chapter 2 deals enough damage to reduce her to below half HP. When reduced to low HP, Miracle can boost her avoid to give her a chance to survive, potentially to the point where she cannot be hit; however, Miracle only boosts her avoid for one turn at a time, and requires that she be at risk to activate. Miracle also allows her to reliably clear the Arena with enough set-up, but her main utility comes from dancing so she has no need to become strong.

Overall, Silvia is a utility unit, but she fills that role very well.
As a mother
If Silvia is alive and has a lover at the end of Chapter 5, she will have two children: Lene and Coirpre. Her fastest pairings are with Lewyn, Claud, and Alec; she has events with Alec and Claude (in Chapters 2 and 4, respectively) that boost love points, and she has an event with Erinys in Chapter 4 that boosts both of their points with Lewyn.

Overall
Lene, like Silvia, is a Dancer, and fulfills a similar purpose; she inherits her mother's items, and is mostly unaffected by her father. Silvia can pass the Leg and Knight Rings to Lene, and while they are items many units in the second generation may want, Seliph is the only unit who will have a stronger claim than her, and he has no need for the Knight Ring after promotion. If Silvia passes the Bargain Band to Lene or marries Dew—who passes the Bargain skill—Lene can purchase both items at a reduced price. If Lex or Arden marry Silvia, Lene will inherit Vantage; with the Sleep Sword, she can put an enemy to sleep before they attack, allowing her to clear the arena more reliably than she could with only Miracle. Paragon is also a very useful skill to have in ranked runs due to how hard of a time Lene has gaining money and experience.

Coipre joins underleveled at a point where staff utility is common enough that he is ultimately superfluous, and no pairing will be able to fix his problems. Given that staff users have an easy time gaining experience in ranked runs, Coipre's performance will also vary little. Coipre's best father is Claude, who will pass Major Bragi Holy Blood and all his staves, including Valkyrie. If Lewyn is promoted, he can also use staves, and thus can also pass them down to Coirpre; Lewyn will also pass his Major Forseti blood and the Forseti if he obtained it. However, Lewyn is a father in high demand, and of the three children who can potentially use Forseti—Arthur, Ced, and Coirpre—Coirpre is the worst; he joins the latest, has the lowest movement, and must promote to use it. In contrast, Claud is not in high demand; he has two other notable pairings—Edain and Erinys—but both have other good options. However, the aforementioned pairings gain more from Claud than Silvia's children.

If Silvia is dead or unmarried at the end of Chapter 5, her children will be replaced by their substitutes: Laylea and Charlot. Laylea is a Dancer, like Lene and Silvia; she has Charm—boosting the hit and avoid of nearby units—and a unique event that provides the Barrier Blade, but lacks Miracle and cannot receive inheritance, and must thus purchase the Leg and Knight Rings herself. Charlot also performs similarly to Coirpre; though he cannot receive inheritance, he does have a unique event with Hannibal in Chapter 9 that provides the Berserk staff, potentially improving the reliability strategies involving berserking enemies that may have been difficult with only the Berserk Sword.
