Sedgar is one of two Horsemen that the player gets in Chapter 4. Sadly, despite the Horseman class being a promotion of the Hunter class, neither Sedgar or [[Wolf]] have the stats of a promoted unit. This isn’t too bad of a downside due to Mystery of The Emblem’s dismount system which usually hurts mounted pre-promotes, hardly affects Sedgar. That being said, Sedgar still has rather low growths outside of his high HP growth of 90%. This means that a trained [[Castor]] will likely be a better horseman than Sedgar will if he is trained up. Sedgar lacks the necessary speed to double most enemies, and his low strength doesn’t allow him to cover this weakness in damage, meaning he is ultimately quite weak in combat. This when combined with his low growths in strength and especially speed, means that Sedgar is a tough unit to get prolonged use out of. | |||
