Biography
Wolt was born and raised in Pherae. Since his mother Rebecca was Roy's wetnurse, the two grew up like brothers. Sometime later, Wolt officially entered the Pheraen knights, thus becoming the youngest of Roy's retainers. He accompanied Roy to his studies in Ostia alongside Marcus and Alen.
He is first seen escorting Roy back to Pherae. When word from the bandits' attack reach them and Roy expresses his worry about Lilina, Wolt admonishes him to leave his regrets behind and to fight.
After saving Castle Pherae, Wolt stays by Roy's side, first as part of Pherae's army, then in the Lycian League's army, and finally, as a member of the Etrurian Army during the final stages of war.
Once Bern is defeated and the war is over, he goes back to Pherae and helps Roy rebuild Lycia.

Wolt is the first archer that joins you in The Binding Blade from chapter 1. His bases, even when taking his early join time into account, are pretty terrible and his very good growths don't help him very much as because of his inability to retaliate at 1 range and the high quality of the enemies means he'll have a hard time gaining EXP and one rounding anything other than generic soldiers. Luckily due to weapons in The Binding Blade having bad 1-2 range, besides magic based weapons, Wolt has a valuable niche in the earlygame by dealing chip damage that is often necessary to secure kills. Sadly this niche doesn't last for long as the player quickly gets access to other bow users like Sin and Sue, who also have the benefit of having a mount, not to mention prepromoted snipers like Klein and Igrene, making Wolt's main use being after the first few chapters being benchwarming.

If Wolt is used consistently, he will build weapon rank the fastest because of his perfect availability. Even with lacking stats, this enables him the earliest access to powerful weapons such as the Killer Bow or the Silver Bow. Even with Sue on the team, he also has high value in Chapter 7, due to that chapter's many powerful wyvern rider enemies, though he already faces competition for deployment with Dorothy. If a player wishes to, he remains perfectly usable for the entire game, though he is by no means the first choice for an archer.

Personality and character
Personality
Wolt is a loyal servant of House Pherae, somewhat slow and not very self-confident, but always willing to try new things, such as wielding a sword or shooting from horseback.
Wolt is a loyal servant of House Pherae. He and Roy grew up as brothers, since Rebecca was Roy's wet nurse, but Wolt is very aware of their different positions in society. This is a cause of conflict between them; while Roy wants him to be his brother and friend, Wolt only sees himself as a simple servant, a notion that Roy disagrees with.<ref>{{cite|Wolt: Lord Roy, is something wrong?<br>Roy: ...Just call me Roy. Roy and he have grown up as brothers, as Rebecca was Roy's wet nurse, but Wolt is very aware of their different positions in society. Actually, this is a cause of conflict between them in their supports; while Roy wants him to be his brother and friend, Wolt is determined to become a servant, even if that means hurting his lord.<ref>{{cite|Wolt: Lord Roy, is something wrong?<br>Roy: ...Just call me Roy. Wolt always strives to improve himself. In his conversations with his fellow knights, he is amazed at Alen's physical prowess<ref>{{cite|Alen: We must break through our own limits and become stronger. An archer who serves Pherae. His mother, Rebecca, was Roy's wet nurse, and so the two share a sibling-like relationship. As expected, he cares for Roy deeply, and has the distinction of being the only vassal to share such a close connection to Roy. He continues to look up to his superiors Alan, Lance, and Marcus, striving with all his strength to be a great vassal.
Among Roy's amassed army of various veterans, there is no doubt that Wolt lacks experience and still has far to go. Aware of this, Marcus, Alan, and Lance give him advice. Despite that, he is still Roy's milk brother. His closeness to Roy is a position not many other people share. As Roy's emotional support, he has a role that none of the other vassals can do. This is the state of his servitude.

|full_name=Wolt: Sunbeam Archer
|name=Wolt Sunbeam Archer
|blurb1=Wolt is an archer who serves House Pherae of the Lycean League. Not only is he a member of the Knights of Pherae, but he's very close to Roy as well—they're just like brothers!
|blurb2=During the war with Bern, Wolt was there to support Roy every step of the way. Now, he's helping the Order of Heroes!
|blurb3=Those trunks really suit Wolt's brisk and carefree style! Ah, that mischievous grin… Still, I wonder why he decided to join the Order of Heroes in a swimsuit?
|blurb4=With that basket full of seafood perched on his back, Wolt looks happy as a clam. I hope he brought enough to share with everyone for dinner tonight!
|Related_name1=Roy
|Related_blurb1=The son of Eliwood, Marquess of Pherae and talented leader of its army. Though Wolt serves Roy, the two of them grew up together like brothers.
|Related_name2=Rebecca
|Related_blurb2=Wolt's birth mother. She grew up in a remote village where she spent her time hunting. Kind and sociable.
