Luthier is one of the characters added to the game in the [[Serpent's Whispers]] update, and became available for summoning by players on June 8, 2021. Only one variation of Luthier is currently available in ''Heroes'', based on his ''Echoes: Shadows of Valentia'' incarnation.

==Personality and character==

Luthier is a loner who keeps to himself, he also thinks it is important that he and his sister, [[Delthea]] practice their magic with secrecy and discipline. As such, he is shown to be inept at interacting with others.<ref>{{cite|Ah, I see. Friendship demands a certain amount of perfunctory conversation. Forgive me. This frustrates Luthier endlessly, as Delthea has refused to undergo training and simply relies on her innate magical abilities, heightened compared to the average [[human]], instead. Luthier and Delthea have a somewhat strained relationship, though they truly care for each other deep down.

===Death/Retreat quotes===

Luthier makes a minor appearance in the ''Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light'' manga, in Volume 2, Chapter 5. He is in [[Khadein]], and happens to appear to [[Merric]] during a training session. They seem to already be acquainted with each other, and they discuss their magical studies, Luthier journeyed to Khadein to learn spells like [[Excalibur]] and [[Aura]], though he has not had success. Luthier is somewhat disappointed when Merric tells him he only knows [[Thunder (tome)|thunder]] and [[blizzard]] spells.

Luthier is currently featured on two cards in {{TCGCipher}}.

* While Luthier makes a cameo appearance in the [[Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light (Hakoda manga)|Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light manga]], he does not appear in the [[Fire Emblem Gaiden (manga)|manga adaptation]] of {{title|Gaiden}}.
