'''Laus''' (Japanese: {{hl|ラウス|rausu}} ''Laus'') is one of the marches of [[Lycia]] in {{FE6}} and {{FE7}}. Known by its vast meadows and clear streams, it is located in the central zone of the country, next to [[Caelin]].  

In ''The Blazing Blade'', Lord [[Darin]] allies himself with the [[Black Fang]] in an attempt to overthrow [[Ostia]]'s rule and conquer Lycia. When [[Eliwood]] and [[Hector]] approach the castle in search of explanations, Darin orders his son, [[Erik]], to launch a full attack on them, while he, on [[Ephidel]]'s suggestion, leaves to invade Caelin. The people of Laus are not happy with their lord's decision, prompting one of the villages to even grant asylum to [[Priscilla|a young troubadour]] who is being pursued by Darin. Eventually, Erik is defeated and Darin is killed, but the Lycian League does not punish Erik and allows him to become Marquess Laus.  

In ''The Binding Blade'', Erik has betrayed the Lycian League again, this time to side with [[Bern]]. When [[Roy]]'s army passes through Laus, Erik readily attacks them, but the Laus army proves to be no match, and Erik is finally killed.  

Known rulers of Laus are [[Darin]], in ''The Blazing Blade'', and [[Erik]], in ''The Binding Blade''.
